Create a promo code

A promo code reduces the price by a percentage or an amount, over a period set to the minute, for a number of uses you choose.

  1. Open Billetterie › Codes promo (Ticketing › Promo codes), then Ajouter un code de promotion (Add a promo code).
  2. Give a title and the Code that buyers will type, then the type: Réduction fixe en € (Fixed discount in €) or Réduction en pourcentage (Percentage discount), and its value.
  3. Enter the Quantité maximale (Maximum quantity): the number of tickets that can benefit from it. To target specific prices, set Limiter à certains tarifs (Limit to certain prices) to « Oui » (Yes) and tick them.
  4. Choose the start and end with the time. Shortcuts fill in the fields (Maintenant, Demain 00:00, Ouverture de la billetterie, + 24 h, + 7 jours, Début de l'évènement: Now, Tomorrow 00:00, Ticketing opening, + 24 h, + 7 days, Start of the event) and a sentence sums up when the code will work.
  5. Leave Code activé (Code enabled) on and save. Share the code, or a link to the event page ending with ?discount_code=YOURCODE: the code is applied automatically.

Special cases

How do I know whether my code works right now?
The list of codes shows the actual status of each one: Actif (Active), Programmé (Scheduled: start to come), Expiré (Expired), Épuisé (Used up: all uses are taken) or Désactivé (Disabled), with the time remaining and the number of uses. Filters let you show only one status.
How do I stop a code immediately?
In the list, Arrêter maintenant (Stop now) button: the code's end becomes the present moment. You can also turn it off with the Code activé (Code enabled) switch: disabled, it no longer works at all, even during its period.
Does a cancelled order give the use back?
Yes: the counter is recalculated from the orders, and a cancelled or expired order no longer uses up a use.
Does the code stack with the member discount?
It depends on the setting of your membership level. If it is not stackable, the member discount applies and the code is refused with a clear message.
Can someone guess my codes by trying at random?
Attempts are limited: after 8 wrong codes in 15 minutes from the same connection, or 30 in one hour on your event, no code is checked for a while. Still avoid codes that are too short.
